And I was a goner.
I knew I needed a tulle skirt. Yep. I said it. NEEDED. One sale at Poppy and Dot and my dream became a reality. I have a cream tulle skirt. And LOVE it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I wear it almost every other Sunday to church. LOVE it. Today's Wednesday Roundup showcases 10 ways to wear tulle skirts. But don't say I didn't warn you. You will NEED one after you read this post. Proceed at your own risk. :)
Be bold. Pick a colorful skirt and keep the rest neutral.
With a lace shirt.
The fashion icon herself wore a tulle skirt beautifully paired with a basic tee & blazer.
With a simple sweater and denim jacket.
Speaking of denim, tuck a denim button up in your skirt + add a cute belt.
Business in the front. Party in the back. Wrap a thick ribbon around your waist for an adorable bow trailing behind you.

ReplyDeleteI was in Beijing, China for a brief phase in my past life ;) Asian fashion is often 2.5-3 years ahead of the other side of the world, and I was wearing this combo back in 2011. Glad I saved these skirts!
