Bridal & Romantic Hairstyles for Valentine's Day ... Guest Post by Becky from Babes in Hairland

Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day! I'm so excited to be guest posting here on Put a Bird On It. My name is Becky & I blog over at Babes in Hairland. I've been blogging for over 5 years, and as a result our blog has hundreds of hairstyle tutorials. We are all about hair, and having only girls, that means I get to do a lot of hair!

Our blog has a wide range of hairstyles (for babies and toddlers, to prom & bridal styles, and everything in between) and since it's Valentine's Day today we thought it would only be right that we share with you some of our gorgeous updo's and styles that are perfect for a wedding or a romantic night on the town!

Don't let some of the pictures deter you from trying these out. I'm not a professional stylist, so if I can do these, (and if you are a bit hair challenged) with a bit of practice you can do these too! Some of my tutorials are in video format, others are step-by-step pictures to show you how I achieved the look. Just click on the name of the hairstyle and it will take you right to it!

I actually was just messing around when I came up with this style - but it turned out great so I shot a video showing how we did it. I can totally see this at a wedding or prom.

My Love Monday ... "Love's A Hoot" Valentine's Day Printable

Valentine's Day is less than a month away! I have to be honest ... I've never been in love with Valentine's Day. I always felt like it was an excuse for people to brag about their significant other and the flowers and candy they got; or, if they didn't have a significant other, it was a day to feel sad and depressed. I never really liked Valentine's Day until I started decorating for Valentine's Day. Then, I learned to appreciate Valentine's Day for more than what Facebook saw it as. I learned that on Valentine's Day, you can celebrate LOVE in general ... whether it be for a spouse, a mom, a brother, a cat, a pint of Ben & Jerry's, a love for life ... just anything about LOVE. The world needs more LOVE, and that is a great thing to celebrate! So today's My Love Monday is about just that: LOVE.

I found these adorable owl treat boxes at Target for $1 {raise your hand if you LOVE the Target One Spot!}. I bought a bunch of them, not really knowing how I would use them, but knowing somehow I would use them. I decided to make a cute tag to attach to them and use them as little gift boxes. Perfect for friends, teachers, church, family ... whoever you'd LOVE to gift a cute owl gift to (filled with a yummy treat, of course!). You could attach these to an owl themed gift or use them at an owl themed party ... with or without the boxes. But I recommend going to Target in search of the owl boxes, because any excuse to go to Target is a good one. I hope you LOVE these as much as I do. Happy Monday!

Hey guys! I'm Amanda from Happily Ever After and I'm so excited to be guest posting today on Put a Bird on It. This is my first guest post, and I couldn't think of a better blog to start with! :)

I absolutely love dressing my 1 year old, Harper and when I found out I was having a girl, I immediately headed to the mall to start shopping for cute little outfits! One of my favorite things to do, is find an outfit for each holiday. The next holiday coming up is Valentines Day, so I thought I would share some of my favorite festive outfits they have over at Old Navy.

All of these adorable outfits can be found over in the Old Navy toddlers girl section.  

They have so many choices, and I have no idea how I'm going to decide on just one outfit! Maybe she will have several festive outfits, like she did for Christmas. ;)
